KUCHT 60-Day Customer Satisfaction Policy
At KUCHT, we stand behind the quality and performance of our products and want every customer to feel confident in their purchase. For this reason, we offer a 60-Day Customer Satisfaction Policy on eligible large appliances.
This policy is designed to provide customers with additional support during the first 60 days following shipment. It does not provide an unconditional or automatic right to return, refund, or replace an appliance. All requests are subject to review and authorization by KUCHT, and KUCHT reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution based on the circumstances of each case.
- 60-Day Satisfaction Period
In addition to KUCHT’s 4-Year Limited Warranty, we offer a 60-Day Customer Satisfaction Policy on eligible large appliances. This policy provides customers with additional support during the first 60 days following shipment if they are not satisfied with their purchase.
Customers have 60 calendar days from the original shipping date of the appliance to contact KUCHT regarding a concern with their purchase.
The 60-day period begins on the original shipping date, regardless of the installation date or the date the appliance is first used.
During this period, KUCHT will work with the customer to understand and evaluate the concern and determine the appropriate resolution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include technical support, troubleshooting, repair, component replacement, appliance replacement, or return, subject to the terms and conditions of this policy.
The expiration of the 60-Day Customer Satisfaction Policy does not affect the customer’s applicable 4-Year Limited Warranty, which remains in effect according to its terms and conditions
- Eligible Products
This policy applies to new KUCHT large appliances purchased through KUCHT or an authorized KUCHT dealer.
The appliance must have been purchased for normal residential use.
Used, refurbished, clearance, open-box, or other specially designated products are excluded unless specifically stated otherwise in writing at the time of purchase.
- Customer Responsibilities
To be eligible for consideration under this policy, the customer is responsible for:
- Ensuring the appliance is properly installed by a qualified professional and in accordance with KUCHT’s installation requirements and applicable codes.
- Using and maintaining the appliance according to the applicable user and installation manuals.
- Providing valid proof of purchase, including the original sales receipt or invoice, as well as the appliance model and serial number.
- Allowing KUCHT Customer Service or Technical Support team to troubleshoot, inspect, diagnose, or service the appliance before a return or replacement is authorized.
- Providing reasonable access to the appliance for troubleshooting, inspection, diagnosis, or service when requested by KUCHT.
Failure to reasonably cooperate with KUCHT’s evaluation process may result in the request being denied.
Costs associated with installation, removal, modification, reinstallation, or relocation of the appliance are not covered under this policy unless expressly approved by KUCHT in writing.
- Product Condition and Cosmetic Damage
If a return or replacement is approved, the appliance must be in reasonable condition, considering normal inspection and residential use.
Damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, abuse, modification, accident, neglect, unauthorized repairs, or external causes may make the appliance ineligible for return or replacement under this policy.
Cosmetic damage must be reported to KUCHT within 72 hours of delivery and prior to installation. Cosmetic claims reported after this period or after the appliance has been installed are not eligible under this policy.
Customers should inspect the appliance promptly upon delivery and report any visible damage within the applicable reporting period.
Customers are strongly encouraged to inspect the appliance and its packaging at the time of delivery. If the packaging shows any visible signs of damage, the customer should note “Received Damaged” or “Received with Damaged Packaging” on the delivery receipt or Proof of Delivery (POD) before signing for the shipment. Customers are also encouraged to take photographs of the packaging and appliance at the time of delivery.
Documenting visible damage at the time of delivery helps KUCHT properly evaluate and process any applicable freight or delivery damage claim. Failure to note visible shipping damage on the Proof of Delivery may affect KUCHT’s ability to submit or process a claim with the carrier.
- Return or Replacement Authorization
All returns and replacements require prior written authorization from KUCHT.
KUCHT reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution based on the nature and circumstances of the concern. Possible resolutions may include:
- Technical assistance or troubleshooting
- Repair or replacement of components
- Appliance replacement
- Return of the appliance
A customer should not ship, transport, or return an appliance without first receiving a valid Return Authorization (RA) from KUCHT.
Once an RA is issued, the appliance must be returned within 15 calendar days from the RA issuance date, unless otherwise approved by KUCHT in writing.
Returns made without a valid RA number, or after the RA has expired, may not be accepted and may not qualify for credit or refund.
- Transportation and Return Costs
If KUCHT authorizes a return under this policy, KUCHT will determine the applicable transportation arrangements and any costs associated with the return.
Unless otherwise expressly approved in writing by KUCHT, costs associated with installation, removal, reinstallation, plumbing, electrical work, gas connections, ventilation, cabinetry modifications, countertop modifications, or any other third-party services remain the responsibility of the customer.
- Refunds
When a return is approved and a refund or credit is applicable, it will be processed according to the original purchase arrangement and any applicable dealer policies.
For appliances purchased through an authorized third-party dealer, any applicable refund or credit will generally be processed through the original dealer and may be subject to that dealer’s refund procedures. KUCHT does not issue direct refunds for purchases made through third-party dealers unless otherwise expressly approved in writing.
Shipping, delivery, installation, removal, reinstallation, and other third-party charges are not refundable.
All approved returns under this policy are subject to a restocking fee unless KUCHT expressly waives the fee in writing.
Any missing, damaged, or incomplete components, accessories, racks, manuals, hardware, or other items originally supplied with the appliance may result in additional charges or deductions from the applicable refund or credit.
- Exclusions
The KUCHT 60-Day Customer Satisfaction Policy does not apply to:
- Claims made more than 60 calendar days after the original shipping date.
- Refurbished, clearance, open-box, or specially designated products unless specifically stated otherwise.
- Products used in commercial or non-residential applications.
- Damage caused during installation, removal, reinstallation, relocation, or modification of the appliance.
- Improper installation or installation not performed in accordance with KUCHT requirements or applicable codes.
- Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs.
- Cosmetic damage not reported within 72 hours of delivery or reported after installation.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or other external causes.
- Issues resulting from incorrect or inadequate electrical, gas, plumbing, ventilation, water supply, drainage, or other utility connections.
- Issues caused by conditions outside the appliance itself, including conditions related to the customer’s property, installation environment, or third-party equipment or services.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Relationship to the KUCHT Limited Warranty
The KUCHT 60-Day Customer Satisfaction Policy is separate from the applicable KUCHT Limited Warranty.
After the 60-day satisfaction period expires, eligible product issues will continue to be handled according to the terms and conditions of the applicable KUCHT Limited Warranty.
The 60-Day Customer Satisfaction Policy does not extend, replace, modify, or otherwise change the duration or coverage of the KUCHT Limited Warranty.
A resolution provided under this policy does not automatically extend or restart the original warranty period unless expressly stated otherwise by KUCHT in writing.
- Final Determination
KUCHT reserves the right to review each request individually and determine eligibility and the appropriate resolution under this policy.
Approval of a return, replacement, refund, credit, repair, or other resolution in one case does not require KUCHT to provide the same resolution in another case.
This policy is intended to provide customers with confidence when purchasing KUCHT appliances while ensuring that concerns, returns, and replacements are handled fairly and consistently.
KUCHT is committed to providing exceptional products and customer service and will make every reasonable effort to address customer concerns in accordance with this policy.
