Installation Notes
IMPORTANT: For all gas line connections, use only approved Teflon tape to seal the threads. Avoid using pipe dope or other sealing compounds, as they can migrate into and clog gas lines and regulators.
All gas supply installations must be performed by a qualified (matriculated) professional who is familiar with local codes and regulations.
IMPORTANT – Electrical Connection
All units must be plugged into an outlet that provides the correct voltage and amperage, protected by a breaker sized according to local codes.
Proper grounding is mandatory—removing the ground wire or otherwise altering the electrical wiring is strictly prohibited. Any such tampering will void the warranty, terminate the option to return the unit, and release the manufacturer and the seller from any liability for injury, harm, or hazards resulting from unauthorized modifications to the electrical system or its components.
IMPORTANT – Heat Transfer and Clearance Requirements
Pro-Style Ranges are designed to operate at high temperatures; it is normal for the appliance to become hot during use. While installation in confined spaces is acceptable, please note the following:
- Heat Transfer: The oven’s heat is distributed across the entire chassis. Cabinets or surfaces in direct contact with the range may experience increased temperatures.
- Clearance Recommendations: To minimize heat transfer to surrounding cabinetry, maintain a small air gap between the appliance and adjacent cabinets.
- Rear Air Gap: A rubber spacer is installed at the back of the unit to provide a small air gap between the range and the wall. Do not remove or modify these rubber stops, as they are essential for proper installation and aesthetics.
- Safety Priority: Always prioritize safety and the integrity of the appliance over aesthetic modifications. Altering or removing any components may compromise safety and performance.
